Terms of Use
Plain-language summary. CarryForge is an independent, advisory companion. You remain responsible for every champion decision and for following Riot Games’ rules. The beta is supplied as-is and may change while Riot and store review are in progress.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By downloading or using CarryForge, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the product. You must be legally able to accept these Terms in your country; minors need permission from a parent or guardian where required.
2. Limited licence
CarryForge grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app for lawful, non-commercial gameplay preparation and review. You may not resell, sublicense, distribute modified installers, bypass access controls, use the service to abuse Riot services, or use the product in a way that violates law or third-party terms.
3. League of Legends and Riot Games
CarryForge is not a Riot product and no approval, certification or account-safety guarantee is implied. Riot policies can change, League Client API behaviour is not officially supported for third-party applications, and a feature that works today may be changed or removed to remain within published policy boundaries.
You choose, ban and lock champions in League yourself. CarryForge never automatically accepts a queue, picks, bans, locks, dodges or controls gameplay. Manual client actions require visible user input. A separate Settings option, off by default, may send only one rune page and item set after you have locked your champion; you can disable it at any time.
4. Beta software and availability
The current release is beta software. Features, recommendations, patch data and availability may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Do not rely on CarryForge as the sole source for competitive, financial, legal or safety decisions. We may update, suspend or discontinue features, including integrations that Riot or another provider changes.
5. Data and third-party services
Use of Riot data, local League Client interfaces, Live Client Data, hosting infrastructure and optional Microsoft Store services is described in the Privacy Policy. External AI coaching is not enabled in the current public beta and will not be activated without an updated disclosure, an appropriate player choice and the necessary Riot/store review.
6. Free access and future paid features
The beta’s core companion features have a free tier. Any future paid feature will be optional and must add transformative value; it will be offered only after the relevant Riot product status and store requirements permit monetisation. Purchasing an optional feature would not grant ownership of Riot data or guarantee game outcomes.
7. Ownership
CarryForge software, original branding and original interface elements belong to the operator or its licensors. Riot Games retains all rights in Riot Games, League of Legends and associated properties. Game data and static assets are used subject to Riot’s applicable terms and policies.
8. Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarryForge is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the beta. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using CarryForge and uninstall it at any time. Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, provider requirements or legal compliance. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers and limitations—continue to apply.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes will be published here with a new effective date. Questions can be sent to [email protected]. Before a commercial launch, the operator details will be updated to the final verified legal entity or full individual identity used for the store and Riot Developer Portal.
